“A section of a protective wall surrounding the Meadowlands Xanadu snow dome buckled Thursday afternoon, causing a temporary closure of a service road near the Izod Center parking lot. Workers removed accumulated snow and ice from near the bottom of the snow dome that appeared to have slid down from the elevated part of the structure.” Snow and ice buildup causes problems on the exterior of a huge-ass building meant to house an indoor 800-foot ski slope that’s already suffering financial problems and severe delays? If that’s not irony then I’ll just sit back and enjoy this delicious cup of hot, steaming schadenfreude.
